The Maui Orchid Society General Membership Meeting started at 6:30 PM with a Beginners' Sessions led by Andy Okada.  Andy shared how he creates containers and hangs his orchids. The guest speaker for the evening was Jan Takamiya who shared her enthusiasm and knowledge on Honohono culture.  You can click below to get a copy of  Jan's tips and tricks.  Bert Akitake led an auction of several beautiful honohono orchids and an door prize winners took home honohono plants. AOS awards were presented to Andy Okada and Jeff Parker.
