The Maui Orchid Society General Membership Meeting started at 6:30 PM with a Beginners' Sessions led by Carol Choda.  Carol provided her excellent guidance and advice on how to prep plants for presentation in shows.  The guest speaker for the evening was Scott Mitamura an Orchid Horticulturalist for the Honolulu Botanical Gardens.  Scott shared his knowledge on Honohono culture.  You can click below to get a copy of Scott's tips and tricks.  Special presentation of 2018 Volunteer of the Year for the Maui Orchid Society to Bill Graham.
